IndieCade the past couple of years has moved around a bit, looking for a new home as they moved away from the iconic blacktop parking lot we at indie(Function); fondly remember our first year attending. In 2016, IndieCade was held at the UCLA campus, a huge change in atmosphere from its previous home, and 2017 changed things up again by settling down for a weekend in Little Tokyo. This year, the Center for Media and Design, the state-of-the-art facility opened in 2017, at Santa Monica College, will be where indie developers and games enthusiasts from around the globe will congregate for the 11th year of celebrating indie games on October 12th and 13th.

"We’re kicking off our second decade of festivals with a truly innovative selection of the most creative and thought-provoking indie games in a brand-new location in Santa Monica. We strive to reflect the diversity of indie game developers, players and fans across the globe and look forward to bringing the community together annually at IndieCade."

-Stephanie Barish, Chief Executive Officer of IndieCade

This year's nominees include games from the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, China, Turkey, Slovenia, Germany, Denmark, the Czech Republic, and Italy. The following list contains all of the announced nominees. More games are to be announced.
