Twine has officially released the big 2.0 edition of the software. The major overhaul starts with how you deploy the application, as it's no longer a desktop application, but rather a convenient browser application. Even though it's through a web application now, Twine programs are still saved locally to your computer, and are even available offline. The new browser application is completely cross-compatible between all operating systems, including tablets, and potentially phones if the screen is big enough to work with.
Twine releases with a new default story format, called Harlowe, already complete with documentation. Alternatively, you can also use snowman. Additional resources for getting up and running with the new version are already available. Head over to the official Twine site and try it out today!
